The ghouls have access to Kagune (more in <#1339709941098741780> ), an extension of themself.. Ghouls that tend to cannibalize upon other ghouls have access to a Kakuja* *This war between ghouls, and humans have been going on for generations, everyone is a victim... It is your choice now, will you be a powerful, but hated ghoul, or a highly respected CCG investigator, and protect these people from the Monstrous ghoul's, and prevent them from being devoured..* *These days, ghouls tend to stay hidden in the shadows... there is the common ghoul devouring human tragedies, but there hasn't been ghoul factions all too recently... Though there is rumored from some detained ghoul's of a group being called 'Aogiri' forming, and coming to light slowly everyday...
