An undocumented origin of magic and the Carrington Event gave Earth's residents the ability to cast spells and alterations to their very way of life, including physical changes. The Nelmerry Academy of the Arcane, Rosemore City, and the jungle that surrounds it all are grounded in about as much moral reality as one can get: dark truths lurk every few steps you take, and the richest among Rosemore's residents raise their wine glasses atop the grave of an unverified statistic. There are countless stories to explore in this setting. For students at Nelmerry Academy, bind yourself to follow a "path" of magic that encourages one to hone a select group of spell types. Learn the building blocks of spells, create enchanted dishes, brew potions, and/or participate in magic-centric sports based on popular media. Even if you don't want to make a university student, no worries! Rosemore City has a slew of opportunities for regular citizens. Want to stomp around haunted locations? Want to release one's delusions of grandeur and join a group of like-minded individuals? Or are you of the morally gray variety, doing things within the scope of your own convictions? No matter what, there's a place for you in Rosemore City. As a server, Nelmerry Academy aims for the "modern fantasy" feel. You can use elves, anything with horns, half-beasts, or some mixture of it all. This is an 18+ community with an appreciation for mature topics; while you're generally free to ERP and explore any kink aside from ageplay, the server emphasizes strong character-building, literacy, and building character relationships.
